Ferrari F90 Stradale

The newest addition to the legendary Ferrari lineup, and it is a tribute for the 90 years anniversary of the brand. Featuring brand new technologies such as the Shut-off Gurney and a hybrid system with 3 engines. The SF90 Stradale is the culmination of years of development at Maranello, and implements technology borrowed directly from their F1 racing division.
Performance.
With 1000hp and 800Nm, the F90 Stradale is the most powerful (street legal) Ferrari ever made, and it shows in its performance. It has the same engine used in the 488 Pista and other Ferrari models, it is a 3.9cc twin turbo V8 with 780hp, same that achieves its maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. However, the F90 Stradale has three additional electric engines that provides it with 162kw (220hp) which bumps the total horsepower to 1000.
Gearbox and traction.
To tame this horse and put its power on the ground, the F90 Stradale's engines are paired to an 8-speed twin-clutch F1 developed gearbox and a Four-Wheel-Drive traction system. All of this specs launch the car from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.5 seconds!
Styling.
This new addition to the Ferrari lineup follows a new language design. For starters, the headlights are not "L" shaped as they used to be in other models like the F458 and the F488; furthermore, the tail lights have a more squared shave in contrast to the traditional circles that most Ferrari models have. As far as the cabin styling goes, it has a more elongated shape and its located a few millimeters lower to the ground.
Interior.
For the first time in a street focused car from Ferrari, the F90 Stradale has a all new digital gauge cluster, same that is dominated by a big rev counter at the center of the curved screens. Also, the steering wheel implements digital glass controls that allows the driver to interact with most of the car systems and features without the need of taking the hands off it. As for the rest of the cabin goes, it is very familiar with what we have seen, full of leather at top quality materials.
Importance.
The F90 Stradale means much more than "just" a new car for Ferrari as it celebrates the 90 year anniversary of the creation of the brand. In addition, this Ferrari is the first plug-in hybrid of the brand, and the second electric vehicle after the Ferrari LaFerrari, not to mention the implementation of the Shut-off Gurney, a two-section mobile rear wing that channel the air at the back of the car, providing it with additional down force and reducing drag, significantly improving the aerodynamics of the car.
As a conclusion, this new Ferrari pretty much sets the direction for the brand in the future, it is the tip of the spear for what is to come. The F90 Stradale brings a lot of new technology that was developed for the F1 racing team, and allow us to experience it on the road. I am sure that Ferrari will bring more cars like this in the future, and I am thrilled to see what they can do at Maranello!
